i sent out the resources i found from a forum to her and spoke to her about it too this morning, but as usual, she just ignored.

everytime there's anything involved in infrastructure, they just take my comments as nothing, probably simply because they think "what the hell do you know about infrastructure", or because they are supposed to be the experts and why should they listen to someone who knows nuts about networking.

this pissed me off really. not that they don't listen to me, but they even refused to listen to other people out there. they don't understand that in the IT world now, the vast knowledge can be obtained from the Web. knowledge sharing is one of the best things about the invention of the Internet.

what we encountered can never be unique. the world is so big. for sure someone at the other end of the world would have experienced it before and resolved it. why don't we then learned from others? why do we need to make the same mistakes and then eventually come out with the solution ourselves, when we can learned from the mistakes of others instead? if someone has travelled a road and knew that there's a pothole somewhere, why do we still wanna walk the same road and fall down at the same place just because we don't wanna heed the guidance and advice from those who experienced it before?

this is the mentality of the people working here in this co. i'm really sick of it sometimes.
