We were fined for SGD70.
I was waiting for 贝 in the car and stopped by the roadside with double yellow lines. As i knew that i was stopping illegally, i did keep looking at the rearview mirror to check if any traffic police was around. I didn't see any at all. Who knows that i had actually been secretly ticketed.
So here's what i learnt from this incident: the traffic police in Singapore may just "hide" somewhere and issue a traffic summons even when the driver is in the car. In JB, if the driver is in the car, the traffic police will just come over and ask the driver to leave; but then this may also be one of the reasons why we always stop our cars by the roadside illegally -- because we know that the police will bagi chance. So you see, Singapore is indeed a country that's very strict on its law enforcement.
Well, we broke the law and we should pay the price. There's nothing more i can say about it.
