Advice to the brides-to-be

Ok, so i was watching the wedding video clips again yesterday and just now.

贝 found me ridiculous and asked, "how many times are you gonna watch that?"

I replied, "10 thousands times."

I bet he must have rolled his eyes behind my back.

Well, i guess that's the difference between men and women...

After the wedding, the groom would think, "phew, finally it's over!"

But the bride, "huh, it's over?"

Anyway, i'm gonna list down a few lessons i learnt after watching the clips. I mean, it's not like these lessons are of any use to me, but they will probably help a bride-to-be who happens to stumble upon this post.

Lesson 1 - The dishes on the standard buffet menu are really sufficient.

The menu provided by the hotel may seem lacking in variety or portion, but that is only because the couples tend to over-estimate the appetite of their guests. DO NOT add on more dishes unless you really have a lot of big eaters among your guests.

Lesson 2 - If you are fat fleshy plump not-so-slim, do wear a shawl over your exposed shoulders

Of course unless you can successfully slim down before the wedding. In case that you've planned to do so, but love eating too much and is too lazy to exercise, then you probably won't reach the ideal figure for the wedding dress. Of course, you can still go bare shoulder if don't really care, but then be prepared to watch your wedding video and photos, and then keep thinking to yourself, "oh boy, was i fat."

Lesson 3 - If lesson 2 applies to you, then this one applies to you too: DO NOT slouch and DO suck in your stomach, AT ALL TIMES

Yes, and i do mean when you are standing, sitting, and walking. You definitely don't want people wondering if you are getting married because you are pregnant or what.

Lesson 4 - If you don't have a broad shoulder and the spaghetti straps of your dress are too long, fix it to make it shorter, or just let your lacey bra or cleavage shown without feeling self-conscious about it

Uh huh, believe me, it doesn't look good on the video or to the guests that the bride keeps pulling the spaghetti straps up at every 10 minutes interval to avoid unintentional exposure.

Lesson 5 - Do remember to go to the toilet or somewhere private with a mirror

Then it probably will help to solve the problem encountered in lesson 4, and also for tidying up the hair and touching up the makeup. Going through the whole wedding without even going to the toilet once to look into the mirror is definitely a mistake.

Lesson 6 - If you are one of those women who walks very fast and in big steps, do walk slowly and in smaller steps

This is even more so when you are wearing high-heels. It really doesn't look good when the bride walks like a king kong.

Ok, that's all for this time. If i see any more lessons to be learnt, i'll put it into another post.

Hmm, then that means i'll have to watch the video clips a couple of times more.

Oh well, it is for the benefits of the other brides-to-be, you know?!

Gosh, I can't believe it that you seems to be scrutinizing every detail of your wedding! You look gorgeous; never seen you so demure! Of course it will be perfect if some of the tiny weeny things was not missed out but I thought it went well, I do agree it was kinda short(relatively)the party was over too quickily but it was simple, and cosy! The party fits well with your character.-LF

I can only feel warm & touching on that day. Don't see all those mistakes you mentioned. But u made me so curious and would like to watch the video clip too, then maybe I can point out more for u. :p

Hi gals, i'm glad that you had enjoyed the day. Yeah, i'll sure show you all the video clips, and then you'll see what i meant. ;)
