Yes, i ran right into the middle of a rally while i was there. This was a demonstration for the human rights in Iran. There was a large group of people;the news reported about 3000 people in total.
The rally was peaceful and i only saw one police car patrolled by without stopping. Everyone felt safe just walking by, as if nothing special was happening.
In sharp contrast, this is what we have in Malaysia.
I mourn for my country.
