Cogito ergo scribo

Didn't manage to get up this morning and missed church. Went back to bed at around 4.30am and was totally exhausted. In fact, i'm still feeling tired now, but i gotta go to work tomorrow, as there's a shitload of work awaiting me. Hope the jet lag has eased off and i won't wake up in the middle of the night again.

Talk about going back to office, i simply cringe at that thought. The renovation should be completed already, and we shall all be cramped into the reduced office space. Regardless of the limited space that we have now, the new MD still asked the HR to remove one of the workstations beside her "room" so that she could have a sofa there for her guests. The ironic part is that she is based in China most of the time and will only be in this office probably for just one week per month. That tells what kind of management she is.

And why i said "room" in quotation? Well, the new office design was supposed to be an "open concept", or so we told. Turn out, there are still "glass wall" around all the Directors' rooms but without a door. Well, there have sure redefined what it means to be "open concept" and what qualifies as a "room". I will see if i have a chance to take a picture of it and you can judge for yourself.

Anyway, there is a thunderstorm brewing over me, i know it. The thunderstorm will be of my making, for somehow i couldn't really care less about this job anymore. Let's see what lies ahead.
