The Cherating Bay Resort is located near the Cherating Beach. This was actually the second time i was there. The first time was with Sui they all but it wasn't a very good trip. My brain, already being very limited in storage space, automatically erased away bad experiences so i can't really recall the details of what we did during our last visit. All i remember was that i hated that trip for some reasons that i don't intend to relate here.
The residence in the resort is apartment type with living room, kitchen, toilet and bed room. 贝 and i stayed at the second floor at Residence No. 62.
As i walked out of the balcony and looked around, i saw the other teams by their cars doing something:
They were all trying very hard to remove the residues of the stickers that they have pasted on their cars earlier on. Other than the car number sticker, the sponsor Canon has also distributed some stickers to the participants. However, these stickers were made of different materials from the car number sticker and were not meant to be pasted on cars.
Those who did paste the Canon stickers were faced with the terrible consequence of having the adhesive residues on the surface of their cars. I think they would have to spend hours removing it or send their cars for polishing.
Our team was one of the few that put up the car number sticker only and not the Canon stickers. Well, you can say i'm sick but i was laughing at these teams in my heart. Yes, i know, i'm a bad person for laughing at others' misfortune, but this sure made us feel better after losing the game and scored a point that was lower than average. See, we are not stupid people; in fact, we may be smarter!
The Cherating Beach was just within walking distance. The first thing we saw as we arrived at the beach was this:
I also saw some tents on the beach. I wondered if the tide would come in and wash them away.
Seriously, i wouldn't consider camping here at all. The beach was so dirty that i didn't even take off my slippers. I mean, hey, who would wanna walk on beach like this? Where was the white sand, blue sky and clear water? Aren't all beaches that are marked as tourism point supposed to have these things?
We heard two Malay kids shouting something to their friends not far away. They were saying something like they were gonna destroy a sand castle that they've built. I walked closer and asked them if i could take a picture of their sand work. They looked surprised but agreed to my request. I could totally understand why they were so stunned at my interest in their masterpiece.
As we continued walking towards the sea, we noticed the sand had formed some very strange shapes that looked like waterweeds and waves. There were also small crabs moving very fast in and out of the small holes on the beach.
As i've taken many pictures after the game, i have yet to photoshop the images. So i'll have to leave the rest of the trip to tomorrow's post. Until then, i'll be working on those photos with my slow laptop.
