Sigh, too many things to do and too little time.
Nay, i'm not talking about work. I'm referring to my posts on our Cameron Highland trip. There are so many pictures and so many things to write about that i simply couldn't do it today. I gotta have my beauty sleep now so i won't be able to post up the 1st part of the post for our Cameron Highland trip. Hopefully i'll have it out tomorrow.
Since i'm already writing (or typing) now, there's something on my mind that i might as well put it down as well.
Read a post by a famous blogger today and she mentioned about an incident she encountered in a cinema and how she had treated someone rudely. In her post, she apologized to the person whom she had treated badly and blamed her bad behaviours on PMS.
Some people complimented her for her courage in admitting her wrongdoing and apologized for it, while some highlighted that she should learnt how to control her temper and shouldn't use PMS as a reason whenever she gave others shit.
I think a person's first reaction to an unpleasant incident is always a good indicator of our real characters; it's a display of our personalities in the rawest form as we didn't have the time to think and condition our behaviours with reasons and social conformity. Anything we do after-the-fact is mostly after much thoughts and governed by our rational minds that are sophisticated by moral values and educational or social systems.
So what am i getting at? Am i saying that this famous blogger is a nasty person? Well, maybe she is in nature. Who knows? My point is not to judge. I just thought that if we wanna do some introspection, perhaps we could think back to our first reactions to the various incidents in our lives, especially unpleasant ones. Then we may realize that our shortcomings are often manifested in those experiences, and through them, we could change ourselves to become a better person.
