Didn't do much after the KL trip. Spent most of the time at home reading comics. Also went to the driving range, did some sewing and watched a Korean movie (which wasn't good at all).
Oh, a piece of good news is that i'm not as broke as i've thought i'd be for this month. After checking the bank account, i realized that the previous company has paid me the pro-rated AWS as well. Normally the employees will only get the 13th month bonus if they work the full 12 months. It's surprising that i got a portion of it even though i quit at the 11th month. That kinda compensated my pay loss.
Haven't been sleeping well for the past few days. I don't know why but i kept waking up in the middle of the night. 贝 said that i must be feeling nervous about the new job. I'm not sure if it indeed was because of that.
Consciously, i don't feel anything about starting the new job tomorrow. After all, this is my N-th job already; i'm a veteran when it comes to the first day of work. So there's no excitement or apprehension (or perhaps those feelings haven't set in yet until tomorrow morning). I just feel that i haven't had enough rest and should have taken a longer break.
I do wonder though what i am supposed to be doing tomorrow, or for the rest of the week, since i don't know anything about the business or the system. Furthermore, the big shots from the HQ will be in, so everyone will probably be too busy entertaining them instead of teaching me anything.
Oh well, we will see.
Anyway, it's the last month of the year, but a new beginning for me, once again. Not a bad way to end a year and welcome the new one, i guess.
