I'm NOT sorry

Seriously, why should i?

Should i be sorry for not getting a job that pays well and still allows me to knock off on the dot?

Should i be sorry for being stuck in a meeting from 9.30am to 5pm and hence was unable to complete the user testing within office hour?

Should i be sorry for needing to spend more and more hours at work because there's only about a month to system go-live date but we are still encountering errors after errors during the system testing?

Should i be sorry for the user having so much work and didn't show up at 5.30pm as agreed but still insisted to carry on with the testing when it was already 7pm?

Should i be sorry for not lambasting the user for making me work till 11pm with her when i'm staying just 10 minutes drive away from office while that user stays at the other end of the island and she's pregnant?

Should i be sorry for not having the time to buy the nice rug from our company's neighbour so that our living room can be more comfy with the minimal furniture we have?

Should i be sorry for not being able to be by your side when you were sick (oh ok, i AM a bit sorry for that), when you only told me that you were having sore throat and i didn't know that you were actually having a fever?

Should i be sorry for not asking how you were feeling when i saw you gargling with salt water and drinking vitamin C on this morning since you were probably still mad at me and would continue giving me the silent treatment?

Should i be sorry for thinking that by moving into Singapore we could just concentrate on working and not have to worry about rushing home, but you still hoped that i could refrain from working so late despite the demand from my job?

Should i be sorry for expecting you to understand that i'm tired as well, i'm feeling sian as well, i'm hoping to go home on time as well, but the work commitment just didn't allow me to do so?

So, really, tell me, should i be sorry for all that?
