Work is getting busier. I'm glad that we're moving in to Singapore this Sunday, as it will eliminate the time pressure i have each day for picking up 贝 and rushing home from work. However, this may mean that i'll be staying back more often and working longer hours.
Anyway, our group of friends were having some interesting discussion via emails lately. I enjoy the sharing of thoughts very much, especially when we see less of each other now with our own busy schedules. And in my most recent email to them (in reply to a friend's comment of striking a balance in life):
A wisdom that defies age: contentment = happiness?
But the woe of the modern people is that we desire more than what we need; we know what is correct and good, yet we practise what is wrong and detrimental. What a sad sad sad reality.
I dare not to dream of achieving the zen-like state of "equilibrium" and "moderation". Now i just hope that i can still maintain a work-life balance when i move in to Spore. That alone is already tough to achieve. Sigh...
