Cogito ergo scribo

We went back to JB on Thursday evening. The new mattress was delivered on Wednesday as scheduled and we wanted to return the two cheap mattresses we borrowed. So we thought of going back via the Causeway since my uncle's home is en route. But the traffic congestion at the Causeway was horrendous, as expected whenever there's a long weekend or any special occasion. With Good Friday coincided with Qing Ming (on Thursday), we were really lucky that there was only a minor traffic jam at the 2nd Link when we crossed the border.

I thoroughly enjoyed Friday and Saturday. The aircon room, my bed, mom's cooking, Astro, golfing... home is still the best place on earth.

We returned to Singapore on Sunday afternoon lest there was massive jam at both checkpoints. We brought in more stuff from JB for our new place in Singapore and did our weekly cleaning of the place. Then we turned in at around 10.30pm, not because we were tired but because there was nothing else to do. We don't have a TV here and there was no Internet connection. I forgot to bring my books and i needed a break from reading the comics i downloaded from the Web. So what was left was just go to bed and sleep.

(Ya ya ya, i know we could have gone to bed and do something else since we had so much time on hand, but the mood wasn't there... ok, i'm so not gonna share this here.)

Oh, and about why i was so pissed on last Thursday, i won't relate it today. I've simmered down after a weekend, but that doesn't mean i won't be bitching about it. After being back to work today and seeing those f*cked-up people, i could feel that the fury was slowly building up again. Let's just hope that when those f*ckers have finally tested my limit, i could contain my rage and put down my rant in this blog instead of going ballistic at those who so deserved to be slapped left, right and center.
