Uh huh, i'm going to Korea for 1 OR 2 weeks. Why i said OR is because the length of my stay is not confirmed yet -- as usual. Tentatively it's one week, but depending on the situation, it may extend for another week.
This is probably my last project on the in-house system, or at least i hope so. I haven't been really involved in this Korean project from the beginning, but just as what happened in some of the previous projects, i was called in because there were simply not enough people to handle the number of projects in the pipeline.
I wonder if the bosses are being too ambitious to plan for so many implementations within a year. Well, maybe they are, but since they aren't the ones who are really doing the work, i guess it doesn't matter. We are all hired to achieve the bosses' ambitions anyway.
Back to the flight, yeah, it's gonna be an overnight flight. I'll touch down at Seoul at 7am tomorrow (Korean time -- 1 hour ahead of us). I'll have to go from the airport directly to the office, and then start conducting the user training and testing. So i'd better get plenty of sleep on board, but being a light sleeper, i guess i'm gonna be half-dead tomorrow. See, i wasn't kidding whenever i said this job is killing me.
I'm so tired lately. Sigh, my blog posts have been scarce, and whenever i do get to blog a few words, i kept saying the same old thing -- i'm tired, i'm tired, i'm tired. Uh huh, that's how tired i am really. I need some rest... no, i need a lot of rest, but i don't think i'll get any until the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Gotta hang in there... until year 2009.
