There was sound of firecrackers near and far when it hit mid-night, but this year seemed relatively quieter, especially so when BM is supposed to more populated with Chinese. Probably people are more law abiding now, or maybe the economy is really so bad that people would rather not spend so much on firecracker, literally burning the money away.
Despite the economic downturn, hope it's still gonna be a good year for everyone.
