Trivia of my uneventful day

I've added the link to the answers in yesterday's post. Hope that by doing this, i've somehow helped myself in memorizing the signs and signals for the test.

  1. Woke up earlier this morning because it was raining and we gotta leave home earlier to beat the traffic at 2nd-Link. A lot of the motocyclists would drive in to work when it rains and hence there's always a traffic jam on rainy days. I hate days like this. Other than the sleep deprivation, it's also because of jackass like this queue-jumper who spoilt everyone's day:

This car was driven by a person who didn't know the meaning of "queue up"

  2. Heard on the radio this morning that many people didn't agree with Stephen Chow (周星驰) winning the Best Director for the Golden Horse Awards. Well, how about Aaron Kwok (郭富城) winning the Best Actor then?!

  3. Read from Real Age about a research that says working frequent and excessive overtime is bad for health. I simply love such research.

  4. Decided to get a Nokia 2300 for mom. She accidentally poured water on her mobile phone a few weeks back. She has hinted to me to get her a new set, so i chose the cheapest one (RM285) in the market now since she only needs the basic features.

  5. Made minor changes to my blog template.

  6. Agreed with 贝 that some parents are too careless in naming their children and caused them to become the ridicule of other children. Why would anyone with the surname "Cheng" name their child "Monica"? When the two words are slurred over, it becomes Monica Cheng = "mo ni ka ceng" = touch your buttocks. Poor kid. Her friends were making fun of her name in the MRT.

  7. Discovered that our pillows couldn't fit into the pillow cases that we bought at the pasar malam on Monday.

  8. Annoyed at mom gossiping on the phone with her friends for hours. These aunties...sigh...

  9. Drank one big bowl of bak kut teh that mom cooked for dinner. It was really good.

  10. Still haven't finished reading the Basic Driving Theory Handbook. Progress was slow.
