The new season of my favourite reality show, The Amazing Race, is back tonight. Yay!
I think i'm gonna talk to my boss about increasing my pay this month. I figured that salary increment will come sooner or later, so instead of increasing my pay year-by-year, he might as well add it up and give it to me in one-shot.
I think i have a high chance of convincing him because i can quote our dear Prime Minister in my defence. Well, if the Prime Minister said that a single 30-sen fuel price hike is preferred over a gradual increase over the year, then the same should apply to my wage hike.
Of course, my boss may say that salary increment is not a must because it all depends on the company's performances. Then i can counter-argue with the same case again. The rise in fuel price happened irrespective of the profit made by Petronas, so my pay increment should be independent of the company's profitability as well.
Hmm, i think i have a solid case built for me. I simply love how politics works.
