Since we were back earlier, we went to the city area to look for hotels. 贝's family will be coming to Singapore in June for holiday, and that's gonna be 7 of them. 贝 is gonna pay for the accommodation and it sure isn't cheap. It's peak season in June with school holidays and some conventions going on in Singapore, so we gotta book the rooms now.
However, with so many people staying over for 3 nights, it's gonna cost 贝 more than SGD1K for just 3-star hotel. If 贝 is gonna pay for the food, transport and touring too, then he may need to scoop out SGD2K. We now know how expensive it is to have a family holiday in Singapore. So the option now is to ask 贝's brother to share the cost.
Aside from looking for hotels, there are much to be done too. We gotta plan for the trip, like what to eat and where to go. 贝's father, sister and her boyfriend have visited Singapore before, so i'm not sure if we should go to the same places again. Yet, his mom, brother, sister-in-law and little nephew weren't here the last time, and a visit to the Merlion is almost obligatory for all tourists to Singapore. Then it may mean that we gotta go to the Merlion Park again. Anyway, i'll leave the planning to a later stage. Gotta get the accommodation settled first.
On an unrelated note, 贝 received two free tickets for the Aviva Open from NTUC as a welcoming gift for his membership.

Just too bad that the semi-finals and final will be held over the weekend, so we don't intend to travel back to Singapore just to watch the live tournament. 贝 will give the tickets to his friends so that the tickets are not wasted.
