During the week that i was on medical leave for my wisdom teeth extraction, 贝 had to park the car at the HDB multi-storey parking lot near Jurong Point and then commute to his work place by MRT. He works at city area and it's simply too expensive to park the car there for one full day.
It was actually not cheap too to park at HDB multi-storey parking lot. It costs SGD1 per hour. So in order to save on the parking fee, he kinda cheated by tearing off the time on the parking coupons later than the actual time. Even though he reached the parking lot at 8am+, he put the coupon starting time at 9am.
Well, he might have thought he could save SGD1 each day, but in the end it actually cost SGD30 more. So i guess it never pays to cheat.
