Cogito ergo scribo

I can't believe 9 days of holidays just passed like that, and it's back to work today. Nothing major was waiting for me at work despite my one-week absence. This shows how dispensable i am in the organization. But then, aren't we all?

This CNY is a bit unusual. Normally during the CNY period, it's always sunny and hot. But for this year, it rained intermittently for a few days. Yet the rain didn't bring fresh air; it was still hot and humid.

Other than the weather, i also haven't eaten a piece of ba gua until now. You know, CNY without ba gua is just like Christmas without Santa Clause. Ok, not a very good analogy, but CNY just isn't complete without ba gua. Some tidbits simply couldn't be missed during CNY, among them are pineapple tarts, prawn crackers, beehive crackers (is that what it's called in English?), and of course ba gua. I think i'm gonna buy some tomorrow to satisfy my craving.

贝 is counting down to his last day at work. Just two more days to go and he will have two weeks of break before starting the new job. How i wish i could have two weeks off too. For a person who has just returned to work after a long holiday to think that, it's apparent that i'm not thrilled to be back in office. There were indeed something at work that made me feel a bit sian. There were new colleagues who just joined us, and there are people leaving too. Anyway, more on that tomorrow lah!
