Our company managed to convince the creditors to accept our payment scheme and prevented to be wound up. Should i say "yay" for this news? I guess i should. Yay...

Perhaps some employees in our company were very happy with this outcome. Our management for sure were. As for me, i could hardly feel the joy. Ya, compared to the unemployed, i should be grateful that i still have a job and being paid for it. Some of my friends may even be envious that i could draw salary without much work, unlike them with workload so heavy that they gotta work over weekends sometimes.
Well, this is the thing. One wouldn't know how it is like to be obligated to work in a troubled company until experiencing it personally. You don't get satisfaction out of your work. You don't have anything to look forward to at year end because you know full well that there won't be any bonus, increment, or promotion. So many of your colleagues had left that you could almost feel the staleness in the air. There are a lot of things that couldn't be done because anything involves money could hardly be approved by the consultants. Ah yes, and the consultants. You gotta be bugged by them every now and then, being asked all the questions that simply make you wanna roll your eyes again and again and again.

So, should i be glad that we won the case? Yes, despite all that, i should. I should be overjoyed at the good news. After all, i'm still being paid every month. If i'm not working like a dog, i should at least be loyal like a dog, or pretend to be so.
