Someone just pulled a hit-and-run stunt on me.
After dropping off 贝 at the Boon Lay MRT, i was driving out of a single lane into the three-lane main road. Just behind me was this pick-up truck with a full load of foreign workers at the back. I couldn't see the face of the driver at all because the truck was higher than my car.
As i was going into the main road, i gotta drive out to the middle lane directly since the inner lane was occupied with waiting vehicles. I moved the car forward by a few inch to see if there were any oncoming cars in the middle lane because there was a car waiting on my right side, blocking my view of the oncoming traffic. Just as i moved forward a bit and then stopped, i heard a loud banging sound and a slight jerk to my car. I knew that the truck at the back must have followed me too closely and couldn't stop in time and thus knocked right onto the back of my car.
I was shocked and didn't know what to do at that point of time. I'm not sure if it would be safe for me to go down and talk to the truck driver because there were at least 10 male foreign workers with him while i'm all alone.
Just as i was wondering what i should do, that son-of-a-bitch truck driver honked at me nonstop. I then remembered that i might be blocking the other cars at the back, and so i decided to move out to the inner lane to let the other cars pass. I expected a heated arguement with that f*cker since apparently he didn't think that he was wrong, judging from his impatient honking.
Boy, how wrong i was. That asshole didn't even bother to stop his truck. He just drove past me while still honking at me as if i had killed his mother. He even had the audacity to do a gesture with his hand at me. I immediately looked at the license plate of the truck and it read GP6956?. I couldn't make out the last alphabet because some part of the last letter had already dropped off from the plate.
And so, i was left there dumbfounded, not knowing what to do next. I went down and had a look at the damage, and saw that the left side of the car bumper had dropped off a bit but everything else seemed to be intact. As i'm still stopping my car illegally by the road, i decided to continue my journey to the company.
I don't intend to lodge a police report because there was only minor damage to my car and it doesn't justify the tedious process that i would have to go through for reporting the case to the Singapore police. I do, however, want that mother f*cker to pay for this (not in terms of money). I'm now thinking of a way to find out who the owner of the truck is. Since it's used to pick up the foreign workers, it's highly possible that the vehicle belongs to a company instead of individual. I don't expect a compensation but i do hope i can harass the company to penalize that asshole.
If it fails, i'm so gonna see a bomoh (witch) this week to cast a voodoo spell on that bastard.
