That f*cking senior did it again today. He tried to implant negativity into another group of users when we were testing the new system. He jumped on every chance to make negative comments about the new system and hinted that the current system was more superior.
I did my best to ignore him and didn't say anything, even though i was boiling inside. He'd better not push me to my limit, or else i wouldn't hesitate to bring it up to the boss. I couldn't care less if they are gonna think that i'm a backstabber or what. Work is work, and i'm not gonna let an unproductive asshole holds up the progress of my work simply because i'm a newcomer and should be as nice as pie.
I wonder if he was doing that because he worried that his skills are gonna be made irrelevant and subsequently his importance in the company reduced. If he has half the brain, he should realize that the current system (which was built on an ancient technology) simply sucked and hence the need to implement a new system that could help to transform the business. The company poured in so much money to have the new system implemented and there's no turning back. No matter what he does, the current system just gotta go. So instead of doing all these sabotaging acts, he should have made better use of his energy in picking up the new system. With his in-depth knowledge of the business flow, which is something i lack, he would be more valuable if he could help to make the new system a success. What an idiot!
Anyway, it's weekend and i'm not gonna let such asshole ruin it. 贝 and i will be driving up to KL tomorrow. We are going to the 8th World of Chinese Books 2006 (WCB 2006), which is the largest Chinese International Book Fair ever held in Malaysia and was recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records. I'm so looking forward to it and i'm sure ready to spend hundreds of ringgit on books.
Books, books, books, here i come. Yay!
