The book fair was a bit of disappointment. I had expected a real book fair with rows and rows of books, but the exhibition hall was actually segregated into different areas for different publishers and there were lots of stalls selling non-book merchandises such as stationeries and OSIM. It was a bit too commercialized to my liking.
Nevertheless, we still managed to bring back lots of books, which will take me a long time to finish reading all of 'em.
We spent about RM357 in total for the books we bought.
In conjunction with the book fair, the Coffee and Tea Asia 2006 exhibition was also held at the same place. We drank lots of Pu-er tea and 贝 spent hundreds of ringgit on the tea too.
I've planned to buy some good coffee and perhaps a small coffee making machine too, but we only saw one stall that was selling Nescafe. I hope no one drove all the way to KL like us just for the coffee fair, or he/she will surely be greatly disappointed.
