Ok, i can hear that snicker from the non-believers. I am not a true believer either, but then perhaps i just need to make sense of the event and find a reason to it... and also to hold on to the hope that there is a solution to the problem.
Self-deceiving? Probably. I'd do anything that can make myself feel better now.
Anyway, according to the sensei, a lot of things are wrong with our house, especially the way we decorated it and placed the furniture. Seemed like the ways we design both rooms is the so-called "room within room" (i.e. 房中房), and in terms of fengshui, it is believed that this will cause husband to have affair ("房中有房必有二房"，即"包二奶").
In addition, our house has water leakage at several places, which we did not fix at all. Leakage is also considered very bad in fengshui, whereby it may cause loss of money and attract bad affinity (烂桃花).
I'd follow the sensei's advice to fix whatever that needs to be fixed, but i still find it hard to convince myself that everything is caused by bad fengshui in our house. That would be over simplifying the things, and i am not a superstitious person to begin with anyway.
We are talking about the affair of the hearts here. The problem is deeper than the placement of the furniture.
