A snow storm came into the town on Wednesday night and didn't get fully cleared up until today. I was hoping that it could be strong enough so that we didn't have to get into the office and could get some well-deserved rest. Too bad that it was just a small one.
Regardless, it's still very cold. To prove my point, here's a picture of me standing in the snow.
It was actually snowing when i took this picture, and the wind was blowing even though it wasn't obvious in the picture.
Gosh, my feet are still feeling icy cold despite turning on the heater in the hotel room. I tried not to turn the temperature too high for the heater, as it can get very dry. I've been having blood in my nose since day 1.
My subordinate fell sick on the second day after we arrived. She has a flu and is having bad cough and runny nose. I almost got sick yesterday, waking up feeling feverish. Fortunately i got better over the day, by drinking lots of water and stay warm.
Our time here on weekdays didn't amount to much other than busy working. Went back to work even on Saturday, from 8.30am to 3.30pm. Then had some interesting activities afterwards. In fact, we just got back to the hotel at around 10pm.
Anyway, i'm still exhausted, if not worse than before. Am going out tomorrow and had almost a full day planned. I've wanted to take Sunday to rest a bit, but then i couldn't reject the hospitality of one of our American colleagues and it also feels like a waste to stay in the hotel doing nothing when we get to spend a weekend here.
Oh well, i guess i should not stay up too late tonight then.
