It was a room without aircon, and i gotta switch on the electrical fan and open the window for the room to be more airy.
When i moved in, there was already a steel spring bed with a thin mattress in the room. As i'm not used to sleeping on such bouncy spring bed, i placed the mattress on the floor instead, sleeping with my legs facing the door.
I felt lonely whenever i was trying to fall asleep, looking at the ceiling and the closed door.
Then the other day, i was lying on the mattress the other way, with my legs facing the other side. That was when i saw the sky. As i am on the 10th floor, and when i'm lying down and looking out of the window, what i get is an unobstructed view of a clear blue sky. That was when i realised it has actually been quite a while that i've never really stopped and looked at the sky with a peaceful mind.
You see, sometimes things will be so different if we just see it from a different point of view. Whether i am looking at a closed door or an open window with a sky view is all depend on which side i am facing when i lie on the mattress. By looking at it from a different perspective, everything can be so different.
For such an opinionated person like me, this is the lesson that i must remember and to learn.
