The drama was quite good, even though it only followed the story of the manga in the beginning, and towards the ending it became more long-winded and tear-jerking like the typical Korean drama series. I also don't like the ending because it was really sad to see how the second lead actor suffered from unrequited love when his love for the lead actress was so deep and touched me very much. Of course, i don't deny that it's also because i found him better looking than the lead actor. After all, most if not all gals have a soft spot for pretty boys in agony. Luckily there won't be any tender and loving pretty boys falling for me, or 贝 would have to be worried, really worried.

I missed 贝 when he wasn't around for the past few days. Well, it wasn't the kind of heart-aching longing of course, as this would only happen when the couples are still in the honeymoon stage of their relationship. It was the kind of feeling as if something is amiss, as if there's a piece of puzzle that's missing to make the whole picture complete.
I think the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" is really true, even though the absence was only for a few days. As another saying goes, "familiarity breeds contempt". It may not have bred contempt in our case, but it did perhaps get dull. It's only human nature that when two persons have been together for a long time, we tend to take each other for granted and the life together seems to become monotonous. So sometimes it's good to get away from each other and to be apart for a while to realize how the person has become a part of our lives, a part of us, a part of our existence, without whom our lives can never be the same again. Hopefully this short period apart has indeed helped to put the unhappiness behind us and we could be happy together again.
