In my post last year, i've written that i think year 2006 was gonna be a good year for me. I think i wasn't wrong. It might not have been fantastic, i would still say that more good things had happened than bad things. And for that, i'm really grateful.
January
- Changed the name of my blog to better reflect why i blog.
- Went to Bangkok for the first time.
February
- Started my Chinese blog.
- Attempted to draw Snoopy for the first time.
March
- Started golfing
- Became a victim of hit and run (of my car).
- Attended my best friend's wedding and met with my ex-boyfriend.
- Bought a set of used golf clubs.
April
- Sold off my old camera on eBay.
- Watched the Asian Badminton Championship 2006 tournament at Stadium Bandaraya Johor Bahru.
- Visited 贝's hometown
- My car was hit again at 2nd-Link.
- Sprained my left hand from golfing and was troubled by it even until now.
May
- Did a health screening together with 贝 and the result revealed that 贝 has asymptomatic alpha thalassaemia
- Redeemed a pen device from Real Rewards.
- Attended another good friend's wedding
- Started my job hunting
June
- Had an oral surgery to remove my left lower wisdom tooth
- Received a fine of SGD30.
- 贝 got a pair of free tickets to an unenjoyable movie.
July
- 贝 won SGD800+ from betting on the World Cup final.
- Fell sick during the weekend that 贝's dad came visit Singapore.
- Played golf at a golf course for the first time.
- Rejected a job offer from the USA.
- Went for a job interview
August
- Bought a new car in Singapore
- Rejected another job offer because the company refused to give me the pay i asked for.
- Had a holiday at Kuching, which until now i haven't completed the last post on the travel log.
- Went through another oral surgery to remove the other wisdom tooth.
- Won SGD100 gift voucher from a free seminar that i attended.
September
- Successfully secured the COE for our new car after three attempts.
- My relationship with 贝 went into depression.
- Drove the new car to attend the interview of my current job.
- Sold our Malaysian car.
- Received the job offer from my current employer and tendered my resignation to my last company that was in trouble for so long.
October
- The water pipe in my neighbour burst and we were out of water supply for days.
- Bought myself a new DELL notebook.
- Sadly bade farewell to an old friend who declared that he wanna severe all ties with us.
November
- Fell down the bus on my first day at work.
- Offended a colleague just a few days after starting the new job.
- Went to KL for the 8th World of Chinese Books 2006 fair and bought lots of Chinese books and pu-er.
December
- Switched over to Blogger in beta after postponing it for a few months.
- Paid a visit to my new workplace.
- Bought an electric shaver for 贝 on his birthday
- Worked on the retail floor as a packer for the first time and saw how kiasu the Singaporeans could be
- Had an enjoyable Christmas this year
- Rained for days and many places in Johor state were flooded.
- Went to KL for a shopping trip.
Well, all i wanna say now is, "wow, what a year for me!" 2007 is gonna be another good year. I'm sure of that.
